The 9th Annual Career Care also invited colleges to share ways students may expand their education, to take advantage of jobs that are in high demand.
"We hope that these students will see that there's a lot more to health care than just doctors and nurses. And when they want to go into health care, there are a lot of different ways to go about it," said Rush Director of Nursing, David Bonner. "This is how we do it. We're growing our workforce every year."
"Health care is one of the major industries in our area and it's vital that we continue to train people for the future in health care," said Dr. Carlton Young of MSU Meridian. "Not only do we train counselors, psychologists, but also health care administrators, who are responsible for the business side of health care in Mississippi."
Rush utilized 24 exhibits to share information about the potential jobs that exist at its various facilities.
