Rush Opens New Kemper County Hospital

Officials with Rush Health Systems announced Wednesday that they had received the go-ahead to open the new John C. Stennis Memorial Hospital in DeKalb.

The 25-bed, 45,000 square foot facility is the first hospital in DeKalb in more than a decade.

The hospital includes an emergency room, X-rays and CT scans, inpatient rehab, and a full-service cafeteria.
