The man who claimed he was driving a vehicle involved in a fatal crash Saturday night has now allegedly changed his mind.
Sheriff Billy Collie said Jimmie Wright now admits he was a passenger in the car and not the driver.
"With the change of direction of our investigation, we have now charged Sally Jean Mobley with DUI manslaughter. Her bond has been set at $100,000 by Judge Robbie Robinson."
The charge against Wright has been altered to accessory to DUI manslaughter.
James Lewis, 40, of Meridian was in the other vehicle and died in the crash. The collision happened on old Highway 45 North Sept. 4.
