Flights Resume

With the recent one year anniversary of the terrorist attacks, airport officials say advance bookings for this week were slow.

Because of this, Meridian Regional joined airports throughout the nation in temporarily reducing its number of flights.

For the past three days the local airport reduced its number of outgoing flights from seven to five. Friday, Meridian Regional and other airports nationwide will resume regular scheduling.
