Nineteen-year-old Eddie Williams is charged with burglary and capital murder in the shooting death recently of Theotis Cross in Scooba.
The victim was shot dead in the doorway of his home. The suspect lives down the street and is in jail Friday night.
Kemper County Sheriff Sam Tisdale said no bond has been set and more arrests could be forthcoming.
