A drug roundup in York, Alabama, resulted in 10 felony arrests on Wednesday.
York Police Chief Ricky Thomas said the arrests were the result of an investigation that extended over several months and involved a number of law enforcement agencies.
All of those arrested are now being held in the Sumter County Jail.
"The majority of the charges were for distribution of controlled substances," said Chief Thomas. "They received $20,000 (bond) for each charge. Some had as many as three, so some had up to $60,000 bond."
Chief Thomas said more arrests are expected.
