Four Charged in Burglary

The Meridian Police Department has charged four suspects, all from Meridian, in a Sept. 24 burglary at Weidmann's restaurant. The suspects range in age from 17 to 22. Meridian detective Dean Harper said the four arrests were made in the past two days.

"These arrests and the investigation itself comes off of a very good tip that helped us crack the case," said harpers. "Some of the property has been recovered. There’s a lot more that's still on the street. We are asking people that may have information about where the property is to please call CrimeStoppers at 485-1860 or 917-8888.”

Charged with commercial burglary were 17-year-old Justin Tran, 18-year-olds Christopher Hatcher and Jason Baldwin, and 22-year-old Angela Castaing.

Bonds were set at $5,000 each.
