The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department Thursday announced a second arrest in a Sept. 17 armed robbery.
The victims were four individuals who had evacuated their homes in Mobile and the Gulf Coast and were seeking shelter from Hurricane Ivan here in Lauderdale County.
The incident happened at Carmel Baptist Church. The suspects used a shotgun and made away with $600.
On Sept. 20, Javon Walker, 20, of Meridian was taken into custody, while the other suspect was still being sought.
"Today's arrest was done by Lauderdale County. Because of the age of the individual, a parent was present when evidence was collected," said Sheriff Billy Sollie.
The name of the juvenile suspect is not released due to the fact he is 15 years old.
