A years-long dispute between the Lauderdale County School Board and the builder of West Lauderdale Elementary School has been settled.
Addison Construction had claimed it was owed an additional $637,000 for the project, but the School Board put the figure at $65,000.
School Superintendent David Little said representatives for both sides agreed to a figure of $120,000.
The decision was announced Tuesday at a special School Board meeting. The lawsuit was scheduled to go to court next week.
