KKK Plans Area Marches

The KKK will be in east Mississippi next week.

The Royal Confederate Knights of the Ku Klux Klan is leading marches in Philadelphia and DeKalb on Sept. 28 to recruit new members.

The march's organizer, Jordan Gollub of Carthage says Klan groups from Alabama and Louisiana may participate.

Philadelphia Police Chief David Edwards confirmed that a permit had been issued to the white supremacy group. He's telling citizens to ignore the marches.

Edwards says he doesn't anticipate any problems.
