Candidates Garner Endorsements

Major party candidates in Mississippi's third district congressional race both picked up endorsements Tuesday.

Cong. Chip Pickering, a Republican, was named a ''Guardian of Small Business'' by the National Federation of Independent Business.

Cong. Ronnie shows received the ''Friend of Farm Bureau Award'' and picked up the endorsement of the National Association of Social Workers' Political Action committee.
