Saturday marked the first of a two-day arts and crafts sale sponsored by the Mississippi Homemaker Volunteers Association. The more than 90 booths at the event are comprised of arts and crafts made by homemakers from around the state.
"The proceeds will go to benefit the service and the community different organizations that need our help such as the garden clubs, people that are needy, just things in general, putting flowers out to make the county more beautiful."
Organizers say there's a little bit of something for everyone at the sale ranging from jewelry to bake goods and even wood works. The event will continue through Sunday.
