Officer Assaulted

Union police officer David Boatner is recovering from a weekend assault when he responded to a domestic disturbance.
Officials report that Boatner was attacked while trying to make an arrest. The officer suffered minor injuries and is back at work.
Rick Griffin, 25, has been charged in the case. Griffin could also face related arson charges.
