Speculation is growing that Don Siegelman will make another run for governor because he is planning a series of what he calls listening posts. They begin Jan. 19 in Huntsville.

Siegelman says he plans to conduct several listening post sessions over the next few months to find out what people think about the state of the state.

The former one-term governor said he's made no decision about the 2006, but others say they think he's going to run.

State Democratic Party Vice Chairman Joe Reed said Siegelman loved being governor and "he's going to run again if he's breathing."

Siegelman was defeated by Bob Riley in 2002.
