Rooster Days Art Festival

York, Alabama, will celebrate its First Annual Rooster Days Art Festival this weekend.

Linda Munoz and Mary Zeno have been promoting the event. All types of art, including fashion and jewelry, will be displayed for sale. Rooster Days is sponsored by the Coleman Center in York.

"It's just a great place for people to show work," said Munoz. "We have a craft room. We have a genealogy department and a wonderful library. And the entire city block has become more or less a historical area."

In addition to traditional art, music, poetry, and story-telling will also be a part of Rooster Days.
