Five Charged in Robbery

The Lauderdale County Sheriff's Department has five suspects in custody for the armed robbery of the super stop in Collinsville. Billie Jo Scott and David Way of Little Rock are charged with robbing two clerks around 4:30 a.m. Sunday morning. Two others, Justin Gentry and Jason Muhammad, also from little rock, are charged as accessories before-the-fact.

"With a Crimestoppers tip and following up on that information, a lot of miles of travel from here to Newton County, assistance was given to us through Jackie Knight's office, Sheriff Jackie Knight, these individuals were taken into custody without incident," said Sheriff Billy Sollie.

Sheriff Sollie said Margaret M. Davis of Meridian was also taken into custody late Friday, charged as an accessory to the holdup.
