Students Look at Career Opportunities

The Ross Collins Career and Technical Center at Meridian High School held its annual Career Fair Tuesday.

For one class period, the students visited with members of different professions to learn about available careers.

"And it's just for them to be exposed to different careers and to talk to people in the field and have them explore some job opportunities that they would be interested in pursuing," said career counselor, Nancy Chisolm.

Students interested in broadcasting and journalism were able to talk to our meteorologist, Charles Daniel.
