Armed Robbery Trial

An armed robbery trial in Kemper County ended Thursday with a guilty verdict.
Eric McDonald was convicted for the holdup of the Scooba Texaco in March 2002. He will be sentenced on Nov. 22.
McDonald was already serving time for a separate robbery in Lauderdale County.
According to assistant district attorney Lisa Howell, McDonald's sentence on the latest conviction will be added to the 10 years he's already serving.
