Former New York mayor, Rudolph Giuliani was in Mississippi Tuesday for a fundraising luncheon for Sen. Trent Lott. Lott also announced he's planning to seek a fourth term in 2006.
"We need Senator Lott. Americans do, as well as the people from Mississippi," said Giuliani. "As far as I'm concerned, I have a little more time than he does. The election is very, very much in the future, the presidential election."
Giuliani declined to comment any further on whether or not he plans to run for president in 2008 or a congressional seat in New York.
