Officials with the Mississippi Arts and Entertainment Center Project in Meridian say they will ask the Legislature for funding for construction of the facility.
However, center executive director Charlotte Tabereaux says she and members of the board have not yet decided how much money they will request from lawmakers.
Meanwhile, a report Tabereaux gave to Lauderdale County supervisors last month stated that the project will cost an estimated $55 million.
