Sponsored by Riley Hospital, 30 vendors participated. Free hearing and blood pressure checks were offered at the health fair, along with other important health information.
"Well, seniors need to know things before they actually go through them," says Courtney Hall, who is the marketing director at Riley Hospital. "So, we're trying to prep them that if they were to have a stroke, they would know what to do or in case of having a stroke or high blood pressure, we'd rather forewarn them before it happens."
Riley Hospital is also preparing to sponsor a health fair for women later this year.
