Manpower: Hiring Likely to Increase

By  |

Meridian employers are expected to hire at a rapid pace during the second quarter of 2005.

That finding is based on an employment outlook survey conducted by Manpower.

Manager Casandra Sloan explained how the survey information is gathered.

"We choose employers from different industries such as manufacturing, banking, any type of education or retail trade," said Manpower manager Casandra Sloan. "We ask questions such as, do they anticipate any changes? If so, is it an increase or a decrease?"

The survey has been conducted by Manpower for 40 years.
