A food drive was held during business hours Friday at Citizens National Bank in downtown Meridian.
The canned food drive was to benefit Love's Kitchen, where the hungry and homeless are fed daily.
"So we've worked with Love's Kitchen in a number of ways, and today is just one way that we're doing that," said Archie McDonnell, president of Citizens National Bank. "That's just to let Meridian know that there is a heart and soul to Meridian, where there is caring for other people. "
Money was also raised to help pay for Love's Kitchen's new facility.
