One person was killed and two injured in an accident Monday morning in Clarke County.
Barbara McCarty of Shubuta died in the mishap around 7:00 a.m. on County Road 280.
Investigators say it appears her vehicle swiped a bridge and left the roadway, and the accident could have been caused by several factors.
"Due to wet roads, and this bridge down here is a pretty dangerous curve," said Clarke County Sheriff Todd Kemp. "We've had numerous (wrecks) in the past down there."
Two passengers were brought to Meridian for treatment.
Meanwhile, in an unrelated crash early Sunday, investigators say fatigue may have been the cause. It happened around 2:00 p.m. Sunday north of Shubuta.
According to investigators, one person from Tennessee was killed in the rollover and another injured. The names of the victims were not immediately released.
Deputies say the two involved were returning from a spring break vacation in Florida.
