Cedrick Jones and Brandon Yates of Waynesboro are charged with killing Brandarius Hill outside the Selebras Club in Choctaw County, Ala.

Their mother, Annie Mitchell, has united with another woman who lost a son in an unrelated shooting incident, to protest the way bonds are set.

Both women say they want justice. One says the bond for the suspect who killed her son is too low.
Mitchell said the over $2 million bond for her sons is too high.

"When I got the newspaper that this guy got out of jail on $15,000 bond and they knew that he killed her son and they don't know what happened to this other guy," said Mitchell. "My boys are standing there innocent; I believe that. Then, they know that this man killed her son. I feel like it's wrong."

Law enforcement officials say setting bond amounts is not done as punishment, but instead to make sure the suspects show up for court.

In the case of Justin Prestage, who's accused of killing his cousin last month, officials say he is not considered to be a flight risk and that is why his bond was set relatively low.

Jones and Yates are not from Alabama, but across the state line in Mississippi. Because of that, officials say they are considered to be flight risks.

But the court has reduced their bond from just over $2 million each to $450,000.
