Police Try to Solve Dog Theft

Meridian police are investigating another armed robbery. It's the third robbery at gunpoint here in the queen city in the last few days.

Police officials say a brown and white dog was stolen from its owner at gunpoint around 3:00 a.m. Tuesday. The incident occurred on the 2300 block of Front Street in downtown Meridian. The stolen dog was a white and brown female pit bull.

The first suspect is described as a black male, six feet tall, medium build with braided hair. The second suspect is described as a 5’5”, black male with dreadlocks.

The suspects fled in a champagne-colored Cadillac with chrome rims.
