Woman Killed in Friday Night Accident

The Mississippi Highway Patrol tells Newscenter 11 that 45-year old Angela M. Alexander of Chunky died when her 2006 Chrysler ran off of the road around 6:00 Friday evening.
Investigators say Alexander's car had just exited onto Highway 25 South from Highway 16 East when the accident happened. No other vehicles were involved.
Alexander was transported to an area hospital and later died. MHP says an investigation is underway.
