A former employee of Meridian Regional Airport has pleaded guilty to embezzlement.
Mark Cowart was fired last year after funds came up missing from the parking fees account.
Cowart was sentenced to three years in prison, but the sentence was suspended. He'll be on probation for three years.
The case was investigated by the State Auditor's Office.
