Two New Orleans men have been sentenced on federal charges that included conspiracy to provide fake driver's licenses and other documents to individuals they thought were affiliated with terrorists.
Chris Carpenter and Lamont Ranson were sentenced in federal court in Jackson, Miss.
Carpenter and Ranson had pleaded guilty in February to charges related to their involvement in a conspiracy to sell false documents to a Philippines-based terrorist organization.
