Guilty Verdict in Butler

A Choctaw County jury returned a guilty verdict in a murder trial.
Joseph Oates, Jr., 32, was convicted for the lesser charge of manslaughter in the stabbing death of Tad Tucker.
The incident happened last summer near Gilbertown, Alabama.
Oates will be sentenced Dec. 11.
