Investigators say fog and rain may have been factors in an accident, which claimed the life of 20-year-old Kim Dean from Hickory.

On Tuesday, Dean was killed in a collision on Highway 25 about 15 miles south of Carthage near the Cold Bluff community. Four other people were also injured in the accident.

At this time, their condition remains unknown. The accident happened Tuesday night around 6:40 p.m.
