Pick-Up Crashes into Local Home

No one was injured after a pick-up crashed into a home in Meridian on Saturday afternoon.
Emergency responders were called to a home at the intersection of 24th Avenue and 24th Street in Meridian around 2:00.
The Meridian Fire Department says an elderly man accidentally accelerated at a stop sign instead of braking.
The driver was able to walk away from the scene unharmed. The home was not seriously damaged.
