Police in Meridian are investigating an attempted armed robbery Tuesday night at a local motel. It happened around 11:45 p.m. at a motel on South Frontage Road.

Police say two men walked into the Motel and tried to rob it at gunpoint, but did not get any money.

The two suspects left the hotel. No one was injured.

The men are described as black males, one about 5'5" and 150 pounds, the other six feet tall and 190 pounds.
