The Wings Over Meridian Air show is Saturday and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at Meridian Naval Air Station.
Numerous active and retired military aircraft will perform flight demonstrations, along with civilian aircraft.
Visitors will have the opportunity to see: the Navy and Marine Corps' Blue Angels in the F/A-18 Hornet jets; the Blue Angels' C-130 Hercules transport (aka Fat Albert); the Black Daggers, the official U.S. Army Special Operations Command Parachute Demonstration Team; the T-45 Goshawk, NAS Meridian's trainer jet; and the Air Force F-22 Raptor; the Air Force F-16 Viper/Falcon.
Wings Over Meridian attendees will have access to the U.S. Army’s Virtual Army Experience. Plus there will be a Kid Zone Aircraft Carrier, an inflatable play area in the shape of a ship.
