Attorney Carjacked

Forest Police ask the public to report information about an assault that happened late Thursday.

Attorney Constance Slaughter-Harvey was carjacked at gunpoint around 11 p.m. in front of her office in Forest. Harvey was forced into the vehicle by two male suspects who wore masks, but escaped uninjured.

The car was later found burned at a mobile home park. Anyone with information about the crime may call Forest police at 601-469-4141.
