Sumter County Sheriff Johnnie Hatter says the one-vehicle accident happened shortly after three o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Epes exit.
Authorities tell us the victim is from Texas, however at this time her name is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin.
Wednesday morning one person was killed in a fatal accident in Greene County.
