Students at Meridian High School are getting a helping hand when it comes to preparations for the ACT.
Community Bank made a $2,500 donation to the cost of providing ACT workshops for students.
Officials say adequate preparation is key for success in taking the college entrance exam.
"We need these young people to have as much opportunity as they can have educationally to enhance themselves and be prepared for the workforce and to be leaders in our community," said Jeff McCoy, President of Community Bank.
"This community supports the high school and supports all of the endeavors that we are involved in, and it will also help them to see that we educate for the whole community," said MHS Principal R.D. Harris.
This is the second year that Community Bank has made the contribution.
