GMHC Home to Carousel Horse

A second carousel horse has been placed in Meridian, as part of the “Hope Horses” project, an ongoing fund-raiser for hope village for children.

The latest, named “The Caretaker,” is located at Greater Meridian Health Clinic on Davis Street at 27th Avenue.

"The blending, we were trying to represent the many varieties of people that visit this clinic," said artist Bobby Carter. "And I think we did a very good job. And I’m very proud of it. I’m proud to be part of this organization."

Genevia Jenkins, Doritha Bryant, and Mattie Sims helped carter create his design for “The Caretaker.”
