Missing Person Located

A Meridian man who had been listed as missing since May 24 is safe and well.
Meridian police asked for help from the media earlier this month and had also called on the FBI for help.
On Friday, Christopher Hunter's mother contacted us to let us know her son called her from New York.
When Hunter left Meridian, he was believed to be heading for Atlanta, but there was no confirmation he had arrived there.
The Hunter family wanted us to pass along its thanks for the public's concern over Christopher's welfare.
