Reaching for Energy Efficiency

The Multi-County Community Service Agency is sponsoring the "Residential Energy Assistance Challenge Program," or "REACH.”

REACH is designed to help assist low-income households reduce their energy usage through energy conservation education.

"The goal of the REACH program is to weatherize the client's home where it is energy-efficient so they save energy and save money," said Romande Walker, coordinator of the program.

The mission of REACH is to enable the people they serve to become more self-reliant through education in a variety of topics including energy conservation, financial management and health and safety.
