The Hope Village Thrift Store in Meridian is moving to a new and larger location. It will occupy the corner of 8th Street and 28th Avenue, the former home of Judge Little's.
Shipmates from Navy Meridian helped move items from the old location on Front Street Wednesday.
"The Navy personnel has helped Hope Village a great deal. They work on campus and they have been with us all day today loading the trucks and the vans to bring our merchandise over here and just doing an outstanding job. They're a real contribution to the community and to Hope Village,” said Ann Maynor, manager of the store.
The Hope Village Thrift Store will open the day after Labor Day, Sept. 6. Its hours will be 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday.
