Death Toll Rises

Search and rescue teams are still digging through debris, hoping to find survivors.

Harrison County Emergency Management Director Joe Spraggins says his crews are determined to find any miracles that are out there.

At the same time, he admits that workers are increasingly looking for bodies.

There are also health concerns. Four people have died from what Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour describes as a "vibrio type diarrheal disease."

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the state Health Department say the disease is not contagious. It is typically transmitted through food or water.
