If you've been waiting to burn debris left in your yard by the storm, you're going to have to wait a little longer.
The Mississippi Forestry Commission is continuing a burn ban for most counties in WTOK-TV's viewing area.
"There's a lot of debris out there now and due to relative humidity being so low and the high temperatures, things are curing out pretty fast and we're asking that the public not do any outdoor burning at this time," said Bill Kitchings of the Mississippi Forestry Commission.
With sufficient rain not expected for at least the next two weeks, Kitchings say it is unknown when the burn ban will be lifted.
