The University of West Alabama is doing its part to assist displaced storm victims.
"We have provided 37 room scholarships from Louisiana and Mississippi. We've also extended our registration deadline for the students and I know that the registrar?s office has been contacted. We're trying to get them enrolled and all."
Dr. Holland says the University is now working with FEMA to try and set up a center on campus where storm victims can apply for assistance.
FEMA officials are expected to visit the campus later this week to see if it can adequately accommodate such a center.
