Red Cross officials in Livingston, Alabama, say so far they've had some success in helping evacuees find jobs.
"We had a lady who got hired as a hair dresser. We have a guy that put in an application as a police officer. We have sanitation jobs available."
Of the 200 evacuees who were at the shelter, Dockery says a number have been hired by Wal-Mart while many others have applied to work at the Mercedes plant outside Tuscaloosa.
