Shelter Closing?

Shannon Dockery manages the evacuee shelter in Livingston, Alabama. She says there are certain steps that must be taken before a shelter can close.

"We have to give a 24 hour notice before we can close, and when we do that we either transition them to a mass shelter in Tuscaloosa, which only has a few people in it as of right now, or FEMA has a place in Wind Creek State Park where they have little mobile type things like travel trailers set up where they can go."

At this time, Dockery says there are no plans to close the shelter in Livingston.
