A special election was held Tuesday in Kemper County for constable post two.
Four candidates were on the ballot for the post, but none gained at least fifty percent plus one.
A run-off will be held Tuesday, Nov. 22 as a result, between Mike Rush, who got 328 votes and Mark McCoy who received 213 votes.
The other candidates were Johnny Griffin with 118 votes, and Randy Gully with 189 votes.
Polls will be open on Nov. 22 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for voters in that district to choose a winner.
