The University of Mississippi is waiving admission fees for people from areas hit by hurricanes.
The offer will be effective for 2006 in the spring, summer and fall terms. It's also offering to waive the admissions application fee for new students affected by Hurricane Katrina.
Consideration is to be given to students living in the coastal counties of Mississippi and the greater New Orleans area, as well as to other students displaced by the disaster.
The waiver applies to new freshmen and transfer students seeking admission to UM for the 2006 spring, summer and fall terms.
