Charge Filed in Hunting Death

A Bogue Chitto man faces a manslaughter charge in the shooting death of his eight-year-old cousin last month.

Lincoln County authorities say Jonathan Blake Williams,19, was indicted by a grand jury in the Dec. 22 shooting death of Dylan Wayne Williams.

Authorities say the older Williams was hunting when he accidentally shot the boy. He's accused of negligence.

Williams was arrested Tuesday and later released on a $5,000 bond.

Williams is scheduled to be arraigned Feb. 3. If convicted, he could face up to 20 years in prison.
