Kathleen Ligocki is a 25-year veteran of the auto industry. She says the southeastern part of the country is the perfect place for the company to build a new plant.
"As you well know, capacity in the car business is moving south in the United States," said Ligocki. "As the unionized Midwest consolidates local auto makers and suppliers are investing in this area of the country, benefiting from market proximity, a work force with a great work ethic, strong support from local government and most of the time great weather."
Tower already has one plant in Mississippi, located in Madison.
